The American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) presents an exhibit of the 50 best-designed book covers in America in 2008; an annual national competition recognizing outstanding design, concept, innovation, and visual elements such as typography, illustration and information.

An exhibition of original drawings by 25 local and national comic artists on the enduring theme of bar stories. This collection comprises a new book, Drunk, produced by Michael Ogilvie, Sean Russell and Michael Todoran, that will be released as part of the book festival. The exhibition is curated by Todd VonBastianns.

The Legends Behind the Comic Books

An exhibition featuring original art and comic strips from the collection of Michael Uslan, writer, producer and originator of the Batman movie series in collaboration with Every Picture Tells a Story Gallery. Also featuring limited editon prints from the fabled Marvel Comics archives. The reception includes a panel discussion with artist Greg Hilderbrandt, agent Jean L. Scrocco and gallery owner, Lee Cohen. Coordinated by Denise Aileen Alvarado.
