The exhibit presents artwork by illustrators Jorge Betancourt-Polanco, Elisha Cooper, Adam Gustavson, Bethanie Murguia, Kip Noschese, and Joseph Watson. This exhibit is supported by public funding for the arts through the Nevada Arts Council, a division of the Nevada Department of Cultural Affairs, and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Artist Mary Hill has created three-dimensional book art and printed paper sculptures inspired by the mesquite tree. Drawn to the extraordinary beauty of the native mesquite tree and how it survives in the desert, Hill suggests correlations between the mesquite tree and our relationship with the land.

The exhibition consists of photographs from the different parts of the series, going back to the 1970s when Fred Sigman was first photographing the Las Vegas Wash as a student at Bishop Gorman High School. The exhibit also will include textual excerpts from his journals recorded along the way.

Free and Open to the Public
Ceramic artists, Thomas Bumblauskas, John Gregg, Peter Jakubowski, and Marc Rosenthal have created and exhibition of works inspired by the poetry of some of their favorite poets, including: Robert Louis Stevenson, Lewis Carroll, Sarah Hale, and John Keats. The ceramic vessels and sculptures will be featured in the Victor F. Keen Gallery at Clay Arts Vegas.
The Gallery and Studio are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
